Thanks! I designed it so there was a small gap for the stickers so they wouldn't get scraped off. I also made sure that the Square-1 pieces didn't hang off and cause bandaging.

Utterly amazing. This takes shape-changing and then multiplies it by itself I know it will never get mass-produced, but I want one (for under $150)

It's definitely been handmade before, many years ago, saw a picture of it somewhere. I can't remember where, or who made it, though Very nice, though, it looks great!

Great work! I love the stickers. This also reminds me that I should get started on my Triple Square-1.

Unfortunately it has been made before, but it does look very nice. Maybe if you want to make it unique you could make it a Square-2 Cross Cube.

The very depiction of epicness. I can only imagine how tricky that is to solve! Inspired design, and brilliant work (:

The time machine is a square-2 with all edge pieces, this has SQ-1 edges and corners.
I'm fairly sure this exact version has been made before too, though.

Thanks for all the compliments! I thought someone might have made it before since it was a simple concept but I searched everywhere and I never found it. I didn't realize how similar it was to the time machine until after I bought it but oh well. The one aleh gave a link to actually has overhang bandaging which I think would make solving more annoying. I really enjoyed solving this one!

I'm fairly sure this exact version has been made before too, though. Didya read Luke's post? He was talking about trying the Square-2 for a unique puzzle but I stated that it would not be the first of its kind.

hmm that's a good question. I'm not really sure. It would probably take me about 15 minutes ish.

.. and as I liked Olivier Polspoel's original idea very much, I am glad I won cubedude76's version.
I released it this morning from customs and can report, that it is a prefectly working puzzle. It turns nicely on all axes, not too tight, not too loose. No further breaking in required. It will be fun to play with.
Thanks! - Frank
