Hello,
I was wondering what kind of pets everyone has, if any? I'll start with my own, Pickle and Ginger. Pickle is a ginger tom cat and Ginger is an American Creme horse, about the same colour as a pickled onion. The naming was my younger sister's idea, though she was only 12 at the time. They are both quite old, 14 and 16 respectively, though Pickle still likes to chase (and catch) mice.

Currently, I have a cat(Frisky) and a German Shepherd(Fritz) living at home.
However, many pets spend the summer at different locations because my mother is a science teacher.
These pets include Trixie(sugar glider) Cocoa(rabbit) Spike(hedgehog) A yet to be named chinchilla, Salt and Pepper(2 White lab rats) Godzilla(iguana) Jaws(piranah) Madam and Bubba(2 ferrets) and Hercamer(hissing cocaroach)
Sounds like a zoo, huh?

Nothing quite so exciting for me. I like to keep a few snails (native species, found in the garden), and at one time had over 90 strawberry snails (Trichia striolata) -- they were fertile little beasts, but don't get me started on the mechanics of their love lives: hermaphrodite sex is far too interesting.
For a while I kept (and then ate) several dozen Helix aspersa. Do they really count as pets if they end up in the pot?
At the moment I have just two white-lipped banded snails (Cepaea hortensis) that have been my faithful companions for the past 5 years. They used to have names, but they (and I) have forgotten them.

A gray cat (in my avatar) Rerun. And a black cat Shirley. Both of them shed too much and leave fur balls everywhere. I really need to brush them more often before I come home to find my girlfriend shaved them.
They are great though, very friendly to strangers and everyone else.

Between my girlfriend and I, we have three cats. Buddy, Tutu, and Jack. Jack is my cat and I love him to death. He's got a snaggle tooth due to a Vet "accident" ( ) where they pulled an adult tooth when he was a kitten and his lower tooth pushes his lip up. He's got some very unusual tastes for treats: lettuce, eggs, noodles, marshmallow, and his favorite, tomatoes. He goes through about 2 tomatoes a week.

I have three cats, Jenni, Mozart (aka "Mo") and Damien Son Of The Devil. Jenni is blind, Mo thinks he's a dog and Damien is mental.
You can see them all at catster.com:

http://catster.com/?180577
Jenni likes mushrooms. Her late sister, Carly, would eat maggots!
I also have a pond with 5 golden orf, though they're technically my mum's. They're named after house elves & other Harry Potter charas: Dobby, Winky, Kreacher, Snape and Hagrid
P.S. TBTTyler, what is a sugar glider?

Sugar glider : A small noctournal flying squirrel marsupial.
A rather fun pet, jumps around a lot and crawls all over pretty much everything. Makes some rather loud noises in the middle of the night though.
Here's a pic of the little creature in the crook of my mom's arm.

Four cats, a gecko, and three chickens. They are all family pets except the gecko is my brother's. The cats are Pete, Joey, Baron, and Mouse (yes, a cat named mouse); the gecko is Greg; and the chickens don't have names.

You should really call them dinner or supper. LOL!!!!!!! Joking only.
I have my youngest brother's cat and that is name is Jasmine. We use to have a cat called Katja but she died May 20 this year of diabetes. We had her for 9 years but it was originally my older brother's cat.

1 hamster, which my in-laws gave to my son, but me and my wife are actually looking after it!
He is quite cute though.

We have a sweet, fat orange tabby cat, originally named Pumpkin, but now just called Punky.
Also two red-earred sliders (turtles) in a big aquarium.
My daughter in college has more aquatic turtles (yellow-bellied sliders and a map turtle) and a gecko. They visit occasionally.

I have an overweight Beagle. He loves to eat everything in sight and is thankful that my kids drop food on the floor

If my wife had her way, we'd have enough pets to qualify as a zoo...lol
Right now we have 1 cat - Jasper.
He thinks he's a dog and hates other animals. We have a ceramic cat that we have for Halloween and we had to put it in storage, because he loses his mind when we bring it out.

Are these birds happier in those small cages compared to their natural habitats or why do humans put them in there?

Please let's not go there, it could get very heated. Besides, my belly is alot smaller than those cages and I've never heard a complaint from the bird's I've put in there.

I am sure that yes
They have never been on the jungle. They have born between human hands, And are with use since they are 2 months of life.
You would have to see them...........
They are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!
