AHAH!!! I finally see how this is solved like a megaminx.
At first while studying the cuts on the puzzle, I thought that Tony was smoking something Because It looked VERY different from a Megaminx.
My first thoughts were that it was like a deep-cut megaminx, because each turn affects the 5 "edge" pieces on the 5 adjacent centers.
However, I now realize that these "edge pieces" are effectively attached in pairs of 2, which makes it like a megaminx edge with the middle of the edge partially hidden underneath 2 extened Megaminx corners! (I feel so smart now

Lines show "attachment" of pieces that appear to be separate
I'm glad I figured that out, it was bugging me all day.
Great work as always Tony, but as others are asking DID you make this from a Dogic? That was my first impression but I see how it could have been made from a Megaminx now.
