Member Overload!

Hi everyone,

Is it just me, or are there around 50 members online and 430 guests? It's what it says on my computer, and its quite weird. But what's also weird is that when I've clicked on some of their accounts, it says they're offline, even if it shows they are in the sidebar.

Is this part of the maitenance thing Sandy said yesterday? Many thanks.

It shows the same to me, I guess its just a bug.

Sandy posted that there was going to be maintenance yesterday and early today. Maybe this is some knid of glitch from that.

Beans may be right. The number of guests keeps growing and some of these people... well it doesn't make sense for some of these people to be online at the same time.

If you click some of the names, the users themselves say "OFFLINE", so I'm sure it's a glitch.

I bet the counts will be more realistic once that soon-to-be-made Rubik's Cube Movie is made.

I stayed logged on because I thought we were doing some record breaking activity thing that I didn't know of. As of 5:48:00 there are 5068 guests online. However, on the "Who is online" section it says: In total there are 39 users online :: 18 registered, 0 hidden and 21 guests (based on users active over the past 5 minutes)

I'm looking at the "Members online" section of the sidebar right now and it is absolutey packed with people. There are also over 4100 guests online. That number has been increasing without fail every time i click refresh for the past half hour. Is this for real?

In the time it took me to take that screenshot and post the above text, the number has gone up over 200 more guests. What's going on?!

Number of guests is declining! This is obviously a glich, but some of the names are going away despite a growing number of members online. I personally tested to see whether Oliver Nagy (sorry no accent) was online when I first came here. but now he's not on the list.

I'm guessing it's just using a different time interval to test if someone is online. If someone last viewed a page 5 minutes ago, they would be considered "online." If they last viewed a page 6 minutes ago, they would be considered "offline."

The sidebar just must be using a much longer time interval like several hours instead of 5 minutes.

You can click someones name to see when they were last on. You'll see most aren't recent.
