Dodecahedron in a Cube, and the Holey Gigaminx.
It's funny that a relatively not too hard to build mod is the first on most people's vote, including mine.

I usually vote for one CAD designed puzzle, and one hand built puzzle, just because while CAD puzzles can be very complex, it's amazing what can be done by hand, and the amount of skill it requires.
I vote: Chopasaurus Dodecahedron in a Cube

-Drewseph's Chopasaurus for a very complex mechanism, with over 900 parts.
-pirsquared's DeFTI cuz I really like icosahedrons, and this one is pretty amazing.. lol
(Dodecahedron in a Cube is a Brand new way of cube building, but its only a Dodecahedron with a cube shape casted around the parts.. and Im more into new shapes and complicated puzzles)

1. Pantabram 2. Dodecahedron in a cube
... on the basis that I will always favour original ingenuity, simplicity and beauty (like the original Cube) over complex extensions of an old concept.

Excellent work, as always. Unfortunately, the list includes a few flaws:
- Tony Fisher's Weenicons Puzzle: not made by Tony as far as I can tell (just a commercial platypus puzzle rebranding) - Oskar's, Bram's, and Pantazis' Pantabram: though the puzzle is named after him, Pantazis is not one of the creators of the Pantabram. - Okamoto's 90-degree limited cube is not included.
My votes go to: - Dodecahedron in cube - Chopasaurus (I hate to repeat everybody else but these are just such very nice puzzles, each in their own league.)

Not trying to canvas for votes or anything. I just wanted to make the list. I think my castle cube should be on there as well (19th Sept). viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18932

List has been updated. I'd like to add the following things: If a puzzle is in the puzzle building competition and does not have its own thread, I will not find it unless you make a new thread on it or hint about it late as seen here. This also goes for puzzles not found in the New Puzzles thread. If your puzzle isn't in the New Puzzles, I'll only get to it by chance. Not dependable. I'd like to sarcastically thank those of you who linked to Okamoto's Quarter Cube. I'd like to know if Okamoto's puzzles should fit on this list anymore- he is no longer active and his newest creations require someone else to announce in a language we can understand. The whole point in these lists is to show everyone what members of the TP forum have created. It doesn't make sense to me to say that someone who has no desire to show off his puzzles on TP should be on the TP custom puzzle list. I'm open minded to your advice, but that's my stance.

Thankyou Rentlix for the add. Love the avatar btw.
My 1st vote goes to judochiou625's "Dodecahedron in a Cube". Simply elegant and beautiful. As someone who makes arty mods, I really appreciated the beauty of it.
My 2nd vote is for Drewseph's Chopasaurus. Beautiful. Love it.
jlspma's No-named 5x5x5 Sticker Variation gets my honourable mention. I love the concept and have his permission to make myself a simple 3x3 version.

Since so many of you wish to have more than 2 votes, should we try out 3 or 4 next month?

Chopasaurus
Dodecahedron in a cube
Both are amazing for very different reasons.

TomZ wrote: Oskar's, Bram's, and Pantazis' Pantabram: though the puzzle is named after him, Pantazis is not one of the creators True, I had nothing to do with the physical puzzle. So it really depends on how much you count inspiration. I personally do not mind the current changes, I am just a bit surprised by your reaction, as even Oskar mentioned all three names on the title of the puzzle (i.e. if I was in your place and you were in mine, I would simply not bother about it). My takes: 1. Pentabram (looks so easy, yet it is so difficult, what else to say?) 2. Chopasaurus (just the fact that it reminds me of Star Wars, is enough!!!) And Rentlix, three votes would be great actually, something like a "personal" gold, silver, and bronze medal, to then provide (after the vote counting) a "monthly" gold, silver, and bronze medal. Pantazis PS. We need three more votes to reach the magic number 30! (well, even with 27 votes, the distribution seems "fair" enough)

I vote for Alex's Black Hole and Chopasaurus. Not that I'm hoping Alex's Black Hole will get any more votes than mine, but it's a very innovative and accessible concept and probably by far the most commercial potential of anything to come out this month.

If you're including puzzles that have been made in the past by other people, such as the 3x3x5, why don't you include Heiowge's Mirror Borg puzzle he made for me?

Give me links, as stated in the previous post and previous months. If it was not in the New Puzzles thread, you need to show it to me or it won't make it onto the list. I just haven't been on the site often enough to find the new puzzles from the other couple threads.

Hmm, The dodecahedron in a Cube undoubtedly stands out, second ones tough, but I'll have to go with DeFTI, I have a weakness for regular icosahedra

I didn't post about it because it was a commission rather than a new puzzle. Include it if you want or leave it out. I won't feel upset either way.

I vote for the Chopasaurus and the Holey Gigaminx, both really impressive. F-Skewb also gets an honourable mention since I found the theory discussion pretty interesting.
