It seems to be 2-layered, so it's a 2 layers cheese, an ufo, or a Greenhill's cheese (all of these are "the same")

I'm getting 2 of them, one to bandage into a regular cheese. That's an easy mod that even I can do :D

I might get one, it beeing 2 layer may make this rediculously easy puzzle a tad harder.

I guess it solves exactly like a Rubik's UFO, but I may be wrong.

I noticed on the store's site they say that every order over $60 will receive a free Evil Twin 4x4, but it's a "dummy". What does that mean?

This is not a full-function Evil Twin 4x4, the top layer is glued to the 2nd layer.

Does anybody know how to build/where to buy a fully functional 4x4x4 evil twin?

I am very disappointed to see this cheese here.
I don't know who put it into mass-production,
but I think it stole my design.
I have a post on Apr.22.2010
viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17003
I also deside to put it into mass-production, but I can only do this on my spare time.
So it is not hit the market until I see this ...
I think the function and mechanism are most like the UFO,
so I did not post it here but on the forum "Puzzle building and modding".

I Built the 3D model with SolidWorks, and have the original files.
If the mechanism is same as these pictures, it is absolutely KO !

I understand that you are angry and disappointed but I do not think that this is a copy of your design. Anthony Greenhill made a 2-layered Cheese well before you did, so you are not the owner of the concept. If they stole the concept from anyone then they stole it from Anthony but I would argue it's so obvious (seeing a normal cheese for the first time, you would believe it would be two layered) that nobody could claim it.

I believe it is the first time you've shown your mechanism. If this is indeed the first time you've shown it, how could they possibly have copied it from you? Again, I think the mechanism is so simple anybody could use it. Also, the mechanism is quite similar to that of the Rubik's UFO.

I am very sorry about your plans to go to market but I believe that whoever is producing this has the same rights to produce it as you do.

Thanks for your reply, Tom.
I know it is not me,who first built this cheese, so I just post topic on the forum "build and modding".
But I also have some other ideas, not only this cheese, so I deside to put them into reality.

The original files have been given someone for 3D printing, that's why I thought this cheese is directly copy my work.
Let us wait for the pics of mechinasim,
if not same, I have nothing to say;
if the same as pictures, how do you think about it...

By the way, the pictures above is not the final edition, my final cheese is not like these, I've made much improvement
Just wait ...

There is a large difference between a model designed for 3D printing and a model designed to be injection molded. At best a 3D model for printing could be used as a visual reference, and there are already plenty of those. Once it is tessellated to .STL format you can't go back to the abstract shapes needed to even be the starting point of an injection design.
