I am verry sorry to say that my dad flamboare (aka Frank) passed away today at 1:20 AM this morning. He was a fighter

im so sorry for your loss, i cant begin to imagine the kind of pain you and your family are going through, but i hope it brings you some comfort knowing that you dad was a very loved person by our community, and he will be sorely missed.

I am so profoundly saddened to hear this. While it was expected it still comes as such a shock, words cannot express how I feel right now.

One thing I will say: Frank, your father, has been such an inspiration to me and others of this community, he will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace, with the knowlege that he has touched so many lives.

He wasn't too far from me, just across the state. I was hoping to get a chance to meet him, I just never had any days where I could take a 5 hour drive across the state.

I'm extremely sad to hear this. Our community lost a great member. Have patience & pray for his soul.

he will be remembered by me for great puzzles, and by a lot of people here as a great person. I didn't really know him, but will always remember that little 'f' on a yellow sticker.

I quite honestly don't know what to say. I just received the puzzles I bought from him yesterday, and sent a PM to him this morning. I can't believe this.

Indeed, this was a piece of news I hoped we will not hear for a good while. He really was a fighter and I hope the memory of his fighting spirit will help you all get through the hardest times. My thoughts are with you and your family.

This is a real blow to the community and all the members ... I joined the forum not so long ago, but his comments have always been nice and supportive to puzzle builder.

This is indeed sad news.

But as I write this I can not help but smile at all of the wonderful things that Frank has done for this puzzle community. He was always there to help when anyone asked, he would take time out of his day to stress the importance of quality work, and he had such incredible spirit and kindness that it was hard not to smile when I read a topic with the name flambore on the first post.

I had only spoken to Frank a few times via PM, but he influenced me more than any other puzzle builder on the forum. It was so important to him to provide quality to his collectors and not quantity, and it showed in his work.

I will never forget your father. He was a good man and he shared his love with everyone here.

But let's be grateful for having the memories of him here with us!

This is a huge huge loss. We lost a puzzler, a friend, a great person.

Zach, arrived this morning to find this dreadful news. Your father was a great inspiration to so many of us and a dear friend. I've never seen someone with the amount of fight and pure determination that he had.

That's my feeling too.

My father and my wife's uncle both died suddenly after surgery. In both cases the operations were completed but then their bodies had reactions to medication or something else.

My feeling is that a shock, shocking as it is, is better than watching pain drag on for years. But your dad was an exception. He was cheerful and a fighter. Congratulations on making the effort.
