Hi Twisty Puzzles fans,

Gerardo's Cube is a Rubik's Cube without edges. The suggestor and name giver of this puzzle is a member and active contributor to the Twisty Puzzles Forum. He uses this puzzle as his avatar. It used to be a conceptual puzzle. When he saw my Floppy 2x3x3, he knew that it could be real. Now it is real!

Watch the YouTube video.
Buy the puzzle from my Shapeways Shop.
Read more at the Shapeways Forum.
Check out the photos below.

Enjoy!

Very nice, you have an amazing ability to make the impossible a reality.

I assume a corners first method would work quite well for this one. :P

Wow Oskar,

It works! Maybe not for speed-solving, but it works! You are a genius! :D

I just can't wait to hold it in my own hands. Thank you very very much! :D

Skarabajo.

This shape always looked in my eyes as the fundamental block
for building structures! Together with its twisty puzzle properties,
it can form some unbeatable combination.

Very sexy cube, just like a 3x3x3 wearing minimal clothing!

;)

Cool puzzle! I like how the center orientation is visible, so you can't just blindly do a 2x2 solve. Very neat.

Do you think something like this would be possible for a 4x4 or 5x5? A 4x4 would be especially cool as the proportions would still be similar but you would be treated to a view of the 'side' stickers of each center (thus making the centers like supercube centers).

Surely Qubami's inventor should see how hard it is to scramble the edges of this thing. That's what you need for a solution that didn't have edges first.

When will we see a void Gerardo's cube?

Too bad we can't see an edges-only void Gerardo's cube.

Another great puzzle. It's really awesome to see you push the boundaries in so many different directions.
