I just got the camera I bought on ebay last month!
It records in 1080p, but not always make videos with this quality because my computer can not handle such high quality.

What a funny post-only in that I just bought a camera yesterday as well.
We have 2 of them and my husband always seems to forget his at the office, then he takes mine and I don't have one when I need it because he leaves it at work
Yesterday I went to an electronics shop and bought a camera. It has a charger for the battery and takes the same chip things as my old one. It is a canon, but the best thing about it??? It's Blue! I know nothing about cameras, so I told the sales girl-"I want a pink one"-They didn't have any so I took blue instead

Cool! I wish I had a camera that could record in 1080p. I wish even more to have a high speed camera that could record at 10000 fps. I have one camera that sucks at taking videos because of the noise, resolution, and fps.
One thing about the video is that it is constantly focusing making it feel like the viewer is moving back and forth. There should be a way to lock the zoom right?

I just got a new HD camcorder as well, and it doesn't run the HD video on my computer as well....

The best media player for HD i've found is MPC home cinema. You can download it along with the k-lite codec pack, and be all set.

I used to use VLC but HD playback was slow and choppy. It works fine in MPC, though.
