A long time Adam (PuzzleMaster42) was having trouble getting some parts 3D printed and asked me to print them at the TechShop for him. There was a misprint, and they came out blue instead of white. Long story short (see the building thread here for the details) it is finally complete: The blue is so pretty I couldn't bear to cover it all over with stickers, so I decided to cut outline shapes. And I wanted to stick with the blue theme, so I stickered it with six different shades of blue. Scrambled: Jumbled: Closeup: Why the name Blue Thunder? After the 1984 movie of that name, which is has "Blue" in the name and was about a Helicopter Dave

This is incredibly cool. I'm sur ethe shades can be difficult to determine too. Well done

It's good to see that you were unique with this puzzle, and didn't just give it a normal color scheme. Very nice!

I hate saying stuff like this, but that is more art then a puzzle.
It really is beautiful.

Amazing-ful use of spare parts, and though its already been existant for awhile, it's still a phenomal puzzle. (And I'd bet VERY expensive too.)

Remember the Rubik's Icon? The entirely grey-scale cube was colored so for just the purpose of making it harder. Having symbols for solving purposes would be worth it to make the beauty of the puzzle to be ruined, or at least in my opinion.

I really think it is pretty, but that'd be a nightmare for me. I can't solve a normal helicopter cube, plus I'm colorblind! I honestly can't tell the difference between the 2 lighter shades or blue in that picture. I guess it's a good thing you own it not me.

This looks really good, but I would have probably made in contrasting, by using different shades of orange.

I like the colors, just as long as im not the one solving it. That would be a headache.

*drool*
That is one seriously good-looking Helicopter. I'm glad you stickered it with blues, instead of a standard color scheme. I might photoshop up a standard-color version just to see what it'd look like in comparison.
