Yes, I nicked her idea! I thought it was so cute, but I chose the puzzles (well most of them, I did get a bit of help from the bug), took the photos, and wrote words to the song. So in the end, it's MINE!!! KO that it is

No, it wasn't intended to be done this year!

First time i looked i thought the two dominoes on the left were just a mirror image of eachother, i looked closer and maybe theyre not the same, but im still not convinced. But even so they are mirrored in comparison to eachother, in orientation of the dots on the puzzle, and theres a line in between them, it would be a good was to fake having 4 if you only really got 3....

Spindle, groove, blind, Taiwan. No mirror images here! If you look at all the puzzle photos I post, you'll notice that fold line in the cloth on all of them. It's really a laundry bag, and because it is too big, it has to be folded to store.

Eh heh, that brings up memories of watching Gundam when I was 9. I didn't know they had Gundam puzzles though.

It took me almost an entire minute to learn that not all 12 days are up! I lost track of the date and its the easiest day to remember- 1st day of 1st month! I was playing the tune in my head and, to my surprise, this song is so well thought out it matches the correct syllable counts and rhyming scheme- the scansion is even identical! Way to go Katherine!

And way to go Katsmom (Roxanne, right? I should know this!) for being so suspenseful with this!

Where'd you get the jeweled one? And where'd the smaller one come from?

The Jeweled one I made using those sticky jewels for phone/gameboy covers! The bugs idea. We made a series of cubes with them too.

The tiny one was made in Russia. Early early puzzle.

There is an old question about the song - how many gifts were actually given?
The answer depends on how one counts - if all the gifts are tallied across all the verses with repetitions, the answer usually accepted is 364. I read somewhere if repetitions aren't counted, the answer is 78. Either way, that's a fine lot of puzzles!

I'll take either 78 or 364 new puzzles. I'm not picky!

That's why I didn't have "five golden rings" not enough puzzles. Same goes for the dinosaurs-I know it should be 4 but....

It kinda seems like you gave up on that one, and just threw in a bunch of random cubes and called them all cuboids.
I like it though, it probably just made my day, although the day is still young, so I can't say for sure.
