I don't buy that often off ebay, but I just scored a copy of The Hobbit. Does anyone else get super nervous towards the end of an auction, even if its just a small item, or is it just me?

Well I do. Ebay if a sort of a competition if you know what I mean. It's an individual sport. If you have ever been to a tournament where you could win or loose, it's a close feeling to what I personally get on Ebay.

I think of ebay as 'blue-collar' crack... and yes, I'm addicted...

I am a member only since 2001, and i remember at first checking my auctions...near the end, "til an eBay member that goes by the name "Little-sam" would outbid me...man-o-man was i frustrated sometimes...
I didn;t keep a grudge Dodd !

I remember once trying to place a bid near the end, and my computer was soooo sllllloooowwww, that i lost out something good...really cheap..!

Having jumped on the bandwagon of sniping services (auctionsniper) now
i just put the max i want to bid and forget about the auction.
I don't get the "highs" associated with winnig an auction like in the beginning, maybe because my collection is almost complet,
BTW, when is a collection completed ? not sure, but one thing is for me,
i dont want to collect everything, so i have slowed down a lot in the past 12 months...but there are always NEW puzzle coming out !!!! viva PAYPAl !

One thing is sure, i am always very happy to received my puzzles in the mail
it 's something similar to christmas, when you're a kid...true isn't ?!
