Many of us will be receiving puzzles for the holidays. Since most won't be rare (post in this thread for rare items), I wanted to create a separate thread for people just happy to share what they are opening. I'll start as I had a nice visit to the post office yesterday morning. Thanks to Milan for a set of Globall puzzles! (and East Sheen for some mini 2x2x2s for building). Dave

I got mine from Georges Helm's shop. He doesn't have any more in stock though. eBay's your best bet.

I'm so annoyed because I found an Alexander's star and an Orb (two of my most wanted puzzles) both boxed but the seller wouldn't ship to UK. I've already received my Meffert's Christmas presents (a set of Fisher Cubes) and am hoping that I receive my Qubami in time. I'm also buying a 3x3x2 that might coincidentally arrive near to Christmas. Alex

Well, I've treated myself with an orange Dino Star already. And I'll be getting a white one too. This puzzle has been missing from my collection for too long, and now I am going to have two of them. Anyone care to offer me other colors (mint condition)?

I have recieved a globall puzzle and a globall flower. The person I traded with should be a very happy person in a few days, since I believe he got a very good deal on his behalf. Also, I plan on buying a kilominx and a new pyraminx crystal, along with possibly a Jing's pyraminx in the upcoming weeks. Maybe soon there will be a holiday gift for the forum from me as well.

I think this is what you are looking for Dave. 2 sets of pictures of "Holiday presents" The first is an early Christmas present from Uwe. I had to go to Shenzhen to get them, but am very pleased with the gift. (3 of the Jing's pyraminx's were purchased by me, and the other he gave me to round out the set) Attachment:

I always hate workplace gift exchanges because I always end up with something utterly useless like towels or makeup that causes allergic reactions. This year my Secret Santa must have put some thought into my gift. And I still don't know who it is! Attachment:

I know I have a few toys under the tree from my husband and daughter. Can't wait to open them up and see what they are!

That tetris cube is the worst present ever. Once you open it and spill the pieces out, don't expect to like it anymore. That being said, I found ONE of the solutions and memorized it, so I'll always be able to get it back into the box.

A *big* package from Hong Kong! My collection of Meffert's puzzles was getting a bit light with all the new puzzles he has been producing, and this was a bit of catch up on my part. I expect another (more Flowerminxes!), but it seems that shipped separately. Dave

I was supposed to get my V-cube set for my birthday in June. My mother said it was too much of a present so she left it for a while. I got each cube at seperate times, and the last, my V6 I got it just 1 and a half weeks ago Hope you dont have to wait that long! krazedkat wrote: Tell her that Jesus was born in summer so your actually opening it LATE... (He WAS born in summer) Down here in the southern hemisphere it IS summer, so you could say that and be correct. Sort of.. -Mark-

I got a Missing Link yesterday. I don't think posting a picture is a good idea since a camera I do have has marginal resolution at best.
