This puzzle is absolutely unbelieveable.
Edit: Is this a "FTO'ed" Pyraminx Crystal?

This is one of the best puzzles you've ever made, Aleh, if not THE best puzzle. And that is definitely saying something.

this puzzle is legendary! And now it's here! I love, love, love it. You, Aleh, are always thinking outside the box. Can't wait to see V2, and maybe this was just the inspiration I needed to stop procrastinating.

TomZ, the puzzle is not a hybrid. It's only way of turning is the faces.

A truely beautiful puzzle, I love how the star is turned in regard to the standard megaminx. I first also thought it was a dino minx though

Is this based, in any way, off of an alexander's star? Just my guess, due to the name you gave it and the way it looks mid-turn.

I think it's just called a starminx because there's a star on each face.

Stunning. I love when great builders create an amazing puzzle such as this and they say there is already an improved version in the works. Fantastic.

I just put the finishing touches on a design for this today. The last file was finished five hours and 30 minutes ago. Then I come here and see this.
It looks just like I'd imagined it. Good work.

Wow, this has got to be one of the most amazing puzzles I've ever seen in my life! Fantastic job Aleh, I can't believe it. And sorry if this is a stupid question, but what is this puzzle technically? Is it a face turning dodecahedron with deeper cuts than a megaminx, but with twistable corners too?

The corners are not twistable. It is just a face turning dodecahedron.

When I read the title, I thought it was a Stelated Icosahedron Megaminx. When I saw the first pic, I thought it was a Dino Dodeca. I then got the notion that it was no normal 'cube'. Then I saw the turning pics. . I don't even know how I'm still writing this, because I'm pretty sure that I dropped dead when I saw that. However, now that I'm back alive I can very well percieve how it's made. It appears to be to the Pyraminx Crystal as the FTO is the rainbow cube, and is made in a similar way.

Just in case you were not yet impressed, consider that this beauty is cast from hand made masters.
That's right, no CAD and no 3D printing here.
Genius design and master craftmanship.
