Master Axis Cube and Royal Axis Cube

Hello everybody, I'm Vietnamese and I'm rubikvn.com's moderator.Today I come here to show you my latest mod.
The master axis cube is made from a 4x4x4 eastsheen, it takes me 2 weeks. :shock:

And the royal axis cube is made from a rubik's professor, it takes me 3 weeks. :shock:

Everything is handmade.

Wow! Those are incredible! I'd love to see some more of your mods.

Why did you leave some pieces sticking out on the Master Axis Cube? If they were to be cut down, would they be too close to the mechanism?

Yeah, those things sticking out look dumb. It would be great if they were level. They would only be cool if it was some sort of pattern to make it do that. Other than that though, it looks incredible!

The royal looks amazing.

I agree, the term "dumb" is a little more offensive then we need to be. I do have to say that they look different though.

I agree that the Master axis cube corner/center sticking out pieces do not look good and I wonder why you made it like that.

I think the Royal axis cube looks very good though. My only question is if you could make the same cube out of a eastsheen or v-cube 5x5, because the rubik's 5x5 turning is very bad...
also do you plan on making more of these or will these be one-of-a-kind mods?

The Royal looks unbelieveable, but I too wonder why the edges were left on the Master.

Edit: TheCube pretty much just destroyed you Calzone. Theres your credibility, out the window, little girl.

It is good to see some Vietnamese puzzlers too.
Especially as I was in Hanoi last December:

The pieces sticking out are because the 4x4 is an easthseen and not rubik's right?
They both look very well build, and the 5x5 has some very nice funky shapes, good job on them.

oh no, 4x4 Eastsheen can make Hexagonal dipyramid so it can make master Axis cube....I made these pieces sticking out because I want a "new style Axis cube".Sometime, I thinK: master axis or monster axis :twisted:

actually I just realized Royal is misused in this case, since it refers to a 9x9 mech, or a puzzle with 4 layers per face =)

I think that master can go for 4x4 and 5x5

I think when 5x5 is professor, then 4x4 is master, and when 5x5 is master, 4x4 is hyper (like the hyperminx) and I guess 2x2 would be kilo from the kilminx, and 6x6 has no name, maybe 6x6 could inherit the name professor, or like someone else said, take the name doctor? But then what would 10x10 be?

Back on topic, i think the royal axis looks beautiful. the 4x4 axis i don't like because of the corners, but it allows you to see the 4x4 in the cube a little bit more easily!

Imperial? We haven't had that yet. Are you planning another Tetrahedron? I heard someone talking about order 11 a while back. I dunno, I only know 6x6's as v6. I mean, what's between a Gigabyte and a Terabyte? Back on topic, Those are some pretty wicked mods you made. Is the Axis Royal's turning good? Because my friend from camp has a Rubik 5x5x5 and having a v-cube 5 myself, the Rubiks one turned like HELL. Also, for the Master Axis cube, what would it look like without the bump things? Those are centers, right?

I believe the term Nifty is pretty accurate. It's exactly what I thought when I saw these.
