I'm trying to upload this funny clip but its wmv and that extension I guess is not allowed on here or there's a glitch in the system.

I've added WMV, AVI, MPG, MPEG and MP3 to the allowed formats. Try it now. Before you do, however, keep in mind that there is a 10-meg size limit.

Upload Error: Could not upload Attachment to ./files/skateboard_dog.wmv.
I give up, it gave this error reading now.
Anyway, its of a dog skateboarding, as you can see from the title of the file and its funny.

I'm not sure how many dog skateboarders there are out there, but this is probably it:

Pretty amazing to see him gathering up speed, steering around and stuff.

yep, that was it! Thanks Sandy. Still would like to know why the file wouldn't load up though.

File too big perhaps? I have the max upload size for videos set to 10 megs, but the PHP settings of the server that TwistyPuzzles.com is hosted on may very well be even smaller. I have no control over this, so there's little I can do about it other than pester my hosting company.
Uploading such large files isn't really something I want to encourage at this point anyhow. I only have 500 megs of server space under my current hosting plan, and we're already close to 400! I suspect I'll have to bump up the plan to the next level, but I'm delaying this as much as possible to save some cash. FYI, if traffic trends continue to increase at their current rate, we'll be dangerously close to the 10gig/month bandwidth limit by the end of the year anyhow.
Since I brought it up, a few weeks ago we hit that 500 meg server space limit because I uploaded too many ZIPs for the "Help Wanted" forum all at once. It's a hard limit, so any new writes to the site FAILED! This meant message posts were rejected, hit counter increments failed (and set a bunch of counter data files to empty files), e-mails bounced, and so forth. Luckily this catastrophe only went on for about 10 minutes before I figured out what was wrong!
