Stop coming up with these so fast or Flambore won't be able to keep up! Both of those look great; I can't wait to see them actually built!

Hi all,
I keep reading about those STL files and still don't know what you are suppose to do with them, once you bought them? I'm sure I missed earlier explanation... Vadim

You can send these files to a 3D printing company to have them make the pieces for you. You can then make moulds from them. And then you pour casting resin into the molds, stick those cast pieces on a 3x3 core, and voila!

You are really creating some novel designs. Though it's not cubic (which I always prefer) I find your Octagonal Prism very interesting. What would happen if you would extend it into a block? I guess two of the sides would look like this. Thomas

Alokin, Basically, a block version of your Octagonal Prism is kind of an extendend Case Cube. I know you asked me not to reveal your brother's next design... but I couldn't help it. I'm addicted to Photoshop. So I made a quick sketch: It would be huge, but I really like the fact that it uses a regular 3x3 core, but has two 3x5 sides. Thomas

Interesting face patterns on the Slice Cube.
I'm sure I've seen another puzzle somewhere with similar (not exact) faces.

Those end pieces would be HUGE. They'll take a lot of resin to cast.

I build what interests me. That big case cube looking thing doesn't. I don't plan to cast that one.

Hello guys! As it's holiday time! So I've decided to do you a promotion! It's valid of now to the 5th January at 23:59! Here is the deal: If you but 1, anyone of the puzzles, you will get this very nice Trigonal Prism for free! The Trigonal Prism will also be up for sale after the 5th January, but it's gonna be at 20$, so if you would like this one, or any other one, the best for you to get it, is now! More about the Trigonal Prism:He only have 6 different pieces! (1 Cap, 2 Corners, 3 Edges) So that one will probably be about 40/50$ at PrinTo3D You are gonna need a core and the screws/springs as usual + 6 centres Cheers everybody, and Merry Christmas!!! Hohoho! ,Nikola

I'm thinking about buying the stl files for the Slice cube but I am still confused about how I would go about making one of these mods, would I like buy the stl files, get them 3d printed and put them onto a 3x3 core and things? and also are the centers all like the same or are some of the centers modded?

Hello GamerCuber101 Thanks for your interest No, you don't have to cast any centre So you cast your parts (not including centres, use classic ones) and put them on a type A core (at Cube4You) with 6 screws/springs and 6 centres Hope this is helpful! Cheers ,Nikola

Hmm, Ok so it would be like all of the pieces of the 3x3 would be modded except the centers and then I would just go about and place the pieces in like if I took apart a 3x3 and put the pieces back together?
Also would all the pieces be modded or would only some be and I would use some of the parts from a 3x3.
And finally, are the pieces entirely 3d printed or only the caps and extended parts then I just attach with super glue or an adhesive or somthing onto the pieces as they are now?
Thanks

Yes, you cast the pieces and assemble it with screws / springs, core and 6 centres Quote: Also would all the pieces be modded or would only some be and I would use some of the parts from a 3x3. You just need centres + core , the rest is casted Quote: And finally, are the pieces entirely 3d printed or only the caps and extended parts then I just attach with super glue or an adhesive or somthing onto the pieces as they are now? They are entirely printed, you have nothing to glue. Just as a precision, there are caps (not classic ones) that you are gonna need to cast and attach to the centre Hope it make sense Cheers ,Nikola

Hello everybody! I just wanted to say that I've updated the catalogue! I've corrected two errors, added the Triagonal Prism and added feature (Realization) You can now re-download it (see the first message) I will probably CAD a couple of other puzzles soon! Cheer, Nikola
