This is one of my cutest designs. It is something like a simplification of the Magic Octopus.
This time, the theme is more of an island theme.
The first state is a creature, found on many ancient Greek jars, and its scientific name is
"
Eledone Moschata". In local island (Kastellorizo) talk, we call it "
Alidona" (where the letter
"
d" is pronounced like "
th" in the word "then", and the val "o" should be denoted more).
Eledone is a very interesting creature. Unlike a normal octopus, it poses some extra type
of flexibility. If you pull one leg, this leg can become extremely long, while the other seven
legs become shorter! Its color is almost always light red to dark red. And yes, it can be
consumed, but its meat is much harder to chew!

For this state to be solved, the tentacles should be properly connected!
The second state is the front of four different traditional houses. They are colorful,
and one of those houses is (surprise surprise) the one I will be staying in this July.
The solved state is when the puzzle can be presented as a cube, with all houses
properly placed (i.e. no balcony should look upside down!) and the colors on the top
should be consistent with the houses.

And yes, I will be making quite a few of those!
