Got my Couloured square-1 kits and decided to "bump" just one side of it.
I ended up with this (see pictures)

I personally like the second pattern with edges swapped.

wow looking at the picture once again

you mentioned you only bumped one side. do you mean decrease on side and increase the opposit?

anyway, I'd like to know, How did you get such a perfect finish on the walls of the pieces? +rounded edges?

it looks to me as perfect as a production model :)

X-mas theme?
No. It is an italian flag theme.
Or these colors were just at hand...

Cool mod!

Thanks everyone!
This is a really easy mod.
I bought 3 colour kits from Rubik. They were the only ones available, apart from black and see-through.
When I assembled red one, I just cut it down a bit and then put the lids on, hence it looks like production one.
Jesse, I didn't really get the joke about Christmas and the Jews. As I am not a religious person, I don't know: is Christmas bad for Jews? Since I had left over parts to make to make two more cubes, I was left with these:
I will make them into bumped square-1s as well and will bring them to UK Open, Pembo, just to stop you feeling Hungry! :D

Well jews don't beleive that Jesus was the son of god, so we don't celbrate christmas, since is celebrates Jesus's birth (I think). I'm just kidding and saying its racist, because the colors reflect the Christain faith more than they reflect the Jewish faith.

Ha ha, I'm surprised. Usually I hate square-1s and any mods made from them, but I find this one quite interesting to look at. I wouldn't want to solve it, but it's visually appealing. Probably because of the colors, anyone with green is appealing to me :D

It's less of a pain to solve than a regular Square-1...

BRAINWAVE STRIKES!!!!!!!

Amorphous square-1 anyone?
