Wow ! This is a very nice work !
I probably missed something, but why is this more challenging than solving four 2x2x2 ?

Whatever, it's beautiful ! I like it very much !

There have been many objects a 2x2x2 was transformed into but this is outstanding.
I want to know more!

What material?
What size?
More designs beyond those four?

Thank you guys! And girls! ;)
It's not 4 2x2x2. It is:

Corner tower 2x2x2 (connecting locks on the neighbor sides)
Line tower 2x2x2 (connecting locks on the opposite sides)
Great Wall of China 2x2x4 (horizontal)
Watch tower 2x2x3 (vertical)

Not every models available now on Shapeways, I'll share them after some correction and reloading.

The main idea is a possibility of connecting the puzzles in solved positions. Thus, the more details you have, the longer your wall and your castle.

I tried to think of connecting elements with a click-effect, but without success. But after the adoption of this option noticed that I repeated the Lego locks.

More day-light photos will appear on weekend.

I promised more photos. Here they are. As for increased complexity - I'm not seeking it. I'm thinking more about popularization of puzzles.
Shapeways models now opened, maybe someone wants to paint them better than I did :)

Dimensions (LWH, mm):
Wall - 97x60x57
Corner Tower - 62x62x69
Line Tower - 48x59x69
Watch Tower - 48x64x77(80 after correction)

Impressive images.
I am afraid the image of the scrambled wall-segment is somewhat misleading. After viewing it I thought it would be a 2x2x2 too. Can you post a scrambled image demonstrating it to be a 2x2x4?

What name do you want to give this group of puzzles?

Andreas

What a charming idea!
If we all work together, we could build the Chinese Wall :)

Thanks for your pictures.

Still looks quite nice. As for the painting, did you use a template to cover up the grooves, then spray over? You could do this quite accurately by using a plotted cardstock tamplate (i.e. somehow export only the brick pattern...)

Unfortunately, no. I don't have enough experience in dyeing. First I covered all the details of cream color, then hid them with electrical tape and put the sewing threads between bricks before painting orange. Also electrical tape was used before covering terracot paint.
I wanted for it looks like an old and a little ruined wall. And I got this! :D

Why not? Maybe original Rubik's Tower looks more spectacular in scramble, because it has 6 colours instead of 1 on mine.

As for the names of puzzles, I thought - let it stays as it is - Wall, Line Tower etc. Andreas proposed to use a common name:
Chinese Wall Pieces - Wall
Chinese Wall Pieces - Corner Tower etc.
I don't mind, I think it's not the main.

[kidding]The main question that keeps me awake - how can I find dexterous chinese producers, who wants to earn a little money?[/kidding]

I thought about 2x2x3 horizontal (middle tower and 2 pieces of wall), Rubik's UFO mech (tower with locks on 3 or 6 sides), they have remained only as ideas. Oskar's Unlucky Twist 1x2x13 will be great in this case, I think.
Thanks you all for your interest!

These are very clever! Not sure what you meant by "I'm a bad painter." They look fantastic!
