I've a puzzle and I have to spray-paint it. Can someone please explain how to properly spray a puzzle. When I tried to spray it the paint made it a very bumpy surface.

1. When spray painting puzzles it is very important that you stand well back and apply very light coats (30 mins or so between each). You can see this in my tutorial video- http://youtu.be/XH6U8Z0wyqg?t=11m31s
2. If you are doing this but still getting a bumpy surface it is probably because you are using the wrong kind of paint. It must be suitable for the type of plastic you are using.
3. Although the surface doesn't need to be ultra polished it must be clean and reasonably smooth.
