well, I 've known there is only one printing site, Shapeways. But that was false and i found another site named i.materialise on the 3d printing community i often visit. There is no experience on it to me. therefore i don't want to print my new one with it but there is rumor that it's cheaper than Shapeways flowing on the community so i started to wonder.

The question is simple. Which one is better to print puzzles? Please answer me simply with the poll and this topic will be removes quickly after i get the decision.

I'm reading through the materials list and I am very impressed. Transparent resin, titanium, high detailed stainless steel. And the prime gray looks incredibly smooth. With the recent decline in shapeways quality and customer service, this might be the perfect alternative.
Edit: I'm not quite sure I understand their pricing.

They even have a sample kit for a reasonable price: http://i.materialise.com/materials/sample-kit

Perfect way to figure out the strength and feel of the printed pieces before ordering something :)

i.materialise tends to be quite a lot more expensive than Shapeways. They offer a material similar to WSF which a little bit harder and has slightly less good of a resolution. They offer some interesting materials like the titanium (with a pretty damn big price tag) and SLA materials (resin).

In the past I have used them because they offer a nice discount for multiple models (I had 15 Curvy Copter II's printed in one go) but Shapeways has become cheaper still.

I dont have personaly experience with ordering with i.materialize, but if it's the materiel that Tom had his original batch of CCIIs printed in, then I can say that its acceptable but not better than WSF. Its quite alot lower resolution. But it still works good.

If it was me then I would stick to Shapeways though.
