I bought two cubes, and i wondered what side to be the top. It seems like everyone has different tops, but i wanna know which one is the 'official' color to be placed on top.

What color do you have in the white area, the grey area, and the black area. (Tell me, use BOY only)

I don't use BOY as I prefer the traditional white opposite blue. But for whatever reason I typically consider white to be top. I actually just received one of these (made by CubeTwist) which I am going to resticker this weekend with Cube Smith stickers. I'm going to do white on top but haven't decided which color to put on the "front" side yet.

Thanks :-) I don't really care about the front colour.

Also, I use BOY, and I don't like the white opposite blue scheme - Japan still uses that scheme for their cubes, and I'm from Hong Kong, and the Japanese invasion during WWII made us (HKers and Chinese (even Asian ppl?)) hate Japan, so I don't like anything associated with Japan, but...

Why do I like sushi?

As the inventor of the Siamese Cubes ( http://www.jaapsch.net/puzzles/cubic3.htm ) I can tell you there is no official colour scheme. However officially it needs to be joined at just one corner to be a true Siamese Cubes.

Another question:
The CubeTwist mass produced one is the same as the top one. If I were to make one by hand I would do the other one just to be different than the easy to get mass produced one.
