Has anyone seen this? I didn't find anything about it anywhere on the forum...for the short time I looked. I'm sure this would be a popular item here, if it were ever mass produced. - Billy

That looks very interesting. I don't quite understand what type of process it uses to print. Is it something new entirely? This printer reminds me of the pp3dp.

The process is not new, technologies like DLP use light to harden resin or other special liquids to form the wanted shapes.

I still remember dot matrix printers, with their crappy resolution. That was about 20 years ago and good quality affordable laser printers came only a few years later.
Give it another 5 years and you'll have the equivalent in 3D printers, then another 5 years and they'll be in every home and office, with millions of downloadable 3D files widely available on many competing websites.
Question is: will anyone invent a 4D printer?

This would be great for creating parts for custom puzzles. The measurements would be exact, no more being "close".

Clearly I was referring to the number of dimensions in the finished product, excluding the time required to print it. Anyway, it was supposed to be a joke.

Maybe the phrase "I'm going to print myself more young." will come into fashion. Who knows?
