I know its been done a million times, but I wanted to do something easy for my first mod, so I am happy with it. I did it mostly to familiarize myself with the whole process of modding, and I think I learned alot...mostly what NOT to do :/ I finished it and it works, so its a success in my book lol.

I still haven't decided what to try for my next mod, any suggestions?

Did you use plastic sheeting? It looks pretty smooth.

For your next one I'd say try a master cuboctahedron. It was my first and it definitely takes a bit of time considering you're truncating and filling 32 pieces and doing loads of stickers too. Definitely a fun one though.

Nice Work!

Very nice. I agree with Jack, a Master Cuboctahedron would be a great second mod! :)

that is a great mod! I have no idea what mod to recommend because I have absolutely no modding skills.

Great start, and good choice for your first mod. I know a guy who started with this as his first mod and he's turned out to be pretty good at it now ;)

I'v never seen that before, but the Master Cuboctahedron does look pretty sweet. I'll definitely consider it. And to Jack, I didn't used plastic sheeting, I used some kind of putty from the local hardware store and just sanded it to death. Only downside is that it weighs two or three times more than a normal 3x3 lol.
