Hello Members,

I recently just finished my container mod and had one left over skewb to mod. Knowing this, I tried to make a mod that has not been done before. Let me know what you think. Has this been done before? A name suggestion would really help! Below is one picture of the unfinished puzzle. I will post completed pictures tomorrow night!

Thanks

Chris

This looks pretty nice, and personally, I like the uneven surfaces better than if they were consistent.

As for a name, all I can think of is billboards, but I have no idea why.

I see you are putting the 3 day weekend to good use

Looks awesome! My name suggestion is "Dented Cube" or "Dented Prism"

I assume you will leave it white and apply the usual pastel stickers? I hope so, also you should take a picture of all of your custom skewb mods together.

Good luck finishing it, that it the hardest part for me :x

By uneven I mean the vertex pieces are slightly larger than the others. I think it looks nice like this.

I believe that if there is a concave section on a puzzle, then the puzzles is known as "anti", so perhaps the "antiprism"?

Very nice mod all the same. :)

AntiPrism already exists. It's a face turning anti-cube made by Oskar.

If I counted correctly it has 22 faces? So how about Irregular Icosikaidigon Skewb. Not a very catchy name but it explains what it is fairly well.

Ah, thanks Sebuver, I thought I had heard of that somewhere before.

Well, perhaps the anticontainer? Anyway, I think that Chriskewb sounds better.

Thanks Members! I like it better than my mental block!

I also wanted to state that if anyone were to hold an interest in this puzzle, I would consider selling it.

Thanks!

Chris

Excuse the morbidity but I think it looks rather like a coffin. Coffin skewb, maybe?
I like the indented surfaces, it would be interesting to see a puzzle with all faces indented...

Indeed it looks like a coffin. That would be a funny name.

Hello, I just wanted to update this thread and say that I have made a second (better) set of puzzles. I made another Container and Skewb Coffin. This time, I painted both puzzles and they look 100% better!

You were right Tony, many light coats of paint! They look great!

What do you think?

Chris

I like them a lot, but I would like them a lot more in black too. :) Nice mods though, good work.
