Hello forum.
I just finished my master mental block. It is the first master mental block every built.
However, it is not yet done. I need to fill gaps, sand pieces, spray paint, and order and apply stickers.
But it is fully functional, so I am claiming to be the
first! (Words cannot describe how happy I am about this!)
Here are some pics:

The puzzle is made from a Lan Lan Master Skewb, extended with pieces cast from Smoothcast 300 in OOMOO 30 molds.
The masters were FDM printed on my high schools $25,000 dimension printer, which hasn't been used for 2 years (I was the first print ever on it

)
Thanks to Mr. McCalister for printing the pieces.
Turning is very nice, and the puzzle has a very heavy weight. The pieces still need to be sanded a bit though.
This is quite literally my dream puzzle. The first thing I thought when the Master skewb was mass produced was, "OMG I need to make a master mental block from this ASAP!"
So this is my first ever casted puzzle. It turned out very nicely, but again
I am not done. BUT I am first
Thank you Tony Fisher for being my idol and inspiration in puzzles.
Tony, I suspect that you are currently making a master mental block right now, but you are probably doing it the REAL way by sculpting masters from acrylic. However I suck at sculpting and plastic sheet so 3D printing worked out quite nicely for me.
I also think that Greq is printing masters for a master mental to make is own, but this is all speculation.
Video soon, more details and better pictures and finished puzzle also soon.Thanks for watching,
Adam Brown
