This supercube I made by peeling off the stickers of a 5x5x5 Rubik's and applying instead the center tiles from a cubesmith 7x7x7 standard tiles set. These tiles that are somewhat smaller than the cubies applied to, should not be centered , but go to a corner of the cubies.

This idea would of course also work for 4x4x4 and 3x3x3 cubes.

Reminds me of making a super cube by cutting the stickers across a diagonal. I like it! :D

Very clever, and subtle.

'you suck at stickering'
xD

Anyway, I really love this idea! I like how, when not properly solved, it kind of annoys you into solving it (at least, that's what it would do to me....I can't STAND looking at badly sticked puzzles) so that the stickers look good again (:

Now this is a *very evil* way of stickering!

Poor non-cubers, they won't know what hit them after they realise
the logic behind this! (that is, *if* they realise it)

Very interesting. I've never thought to do it that way! That is really clever. But I think it's more practical just to get Cubesmith's new super cube stickers instead.

Nicely done!

I would find that so annoying if I was to solve it not knowing what was really going on.

An interesting twist on the super cube....

I really need to not read these forums.... now I wants me one!

It should be subtle.
