Has a non-pillowed keychain sized mastermorphix ever been built? I think since a full sized one is so large, a mastermorphix made from a keychain cube would be perfect.

Could you not have painted it? I thought about making a puzzle with awkward stickers, and painting seems like the best option.

I had the .STL files that Adam made shrunk into a keychain sized puzzle. I had the masters printed, but I never actually got to make the mastermorphix. I have a keychain sized axis cube and a keychain sized hex prism 2, but didn't get to the mm. Dave Calzone has the masters, so it can be done.

Here's a link to the two I did make. http://twistypuzzles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=13103

Would it be possible to sand down to pillowed sides of a mass produced mastermorphix, and then cap with plastic?

You can't sand the mass produced mastermorphix down very far, or the corners will be gone completely.

That leaves me with the option of hand making it. I would probably use a couple white mini maru cubes. Are there any really good tutorials out there for the mastermorphix? I spent really long searching but couldn't find anything.

It's a half truncated built up into a tetrahedron.

I made mine from a keychain cube some mighty putty and plastic cards. It was one of my first builds

This was a very bad build and as you can see it is the truncated version. the stickers also suck.

I can offer a set of parts (on Shapeways) that should fit onto a regular Rubik's Keychain and glue-on centercaps for around $45. If anyone is interested, I can make the model available to the public. It's around 70mm on an edge, the smallest I could get based on a keychain 3x3x3.
