I have been enrolled in a CAD class for a month or so now, mostly teaching myself how to make things. The very first thing I made was a normal Rubik's cube, as most people i believe do. i wont post a picture of that as you all know what it would look like. yesterday though I made two slightly more difficult puzzles, one of them has been made before, the other a little different from the Grimace puzzle made not too long ago.
Anyway The first is a master grimace(?) it is fully functional and very simple.
The second is a hexagonal prism, which as titled, is a large paperweight. I'm sure some of you can see why. It was fun and I can make a functional one, but don't intend on printing one anyways, just all practice.

The master grimace looks AWESOME! Great job, do you ever plan on printing it?

Well, I mostly meant that i didn't intend on printing the hexagonal prism. I may print the master grimace eventually, as it is a small puzzle it would be cheap to print. I think I might just release the files, with consent from the original Grimace designer

It is not printed, just using a nice photoview program for solidworks. It does a very nice job. It is a HD 3x3 that has been rounded off into a bicone. This is a very poorly made version of it even though it looks nice, each piece is unique because of the way I designed it. Once again it is all practice I havn't checked out any of the tutorial videos yet, so maybe I will do better once I get around to that. There will probably be no more pictures for a while though, time to actually do the work I'm supposed to be doing
