Some of you may know that I'm going to starting modding and casting puzzle soon. However, I don't know how to cut stickers. I am going to order Cubesmith vinyl sheets if everything goes to plan but want to ask skilled puzzle makers about stickering puzzles.

*Please do not suggest Dr.Sticker, I can't afford to get stickers cut at the moment.*

I am going to use a Cubesmith blade to remove stickers but to remove residue rubbing alcohol/white spirit have been suggested. How do you use these to remove residue (technique)?

How do you cut custom stickers? I am assuming that it requires measuring the pieces but am not sure how to cut the stickers.

I would appreciate some help with this.

Stickers come off better if you warm them a little. A rubber (eraser) will often remove residue. As for cutting new ones, see this video about 5 mins in- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSNvyuEN5no

Thanks Tony. I had actually seen that video before and was trying really hard to find it on YouTube. I couldn't for the life of me remember the puzzle video that it was. Thank You.

Okay, thanks for the help, I will try those techniques. I've just checked Cubesmith's shipping to UK - I'm going to order if the mod (3x3x3 HD - starting on Saturday ) is successful but at worst case scenario I could be waiting 10 WEEKS!

I'll put up pictures of the mod to see how the stickers compare to more experienced puzzle makers' puzzles.
