Can the 14 SIDED STAR that recently was sold on e-Bay be created from several Square-1's ?. What about the middle section ?.

I have a puzzle like this, so I can describe it. The top and bottom layers have six pieces each, and the pieces look like they are from Square-1s. The middle layer is also just like a Square-1 in that it has two pieces only. This layer has been modified to conform to the star shape.

The star is a delightful puzzle. A brilliant design (no pun intended.)
