1x2x3 can't satisfy you?
well here is some stl's for a 1x2x4. I made them just for fun with no planns on building it, so i thought if someone of you would like to try it out.
the size is 24mm/cubie and the tolerance is 0.1mm.
the screw hole is 4.5mm and you'll need a srew with a nut.

This is some great pieces, but I would like to crearify on a few things.
The design will/can work. Can you answer these questions though?
1. This type of puzzle needs tollerance (usually .10-.20mm), what is yours?
2. Can you fillet the mechanism? It would make it lock up a lot less.
3. what type of screw/spring/washer and NUT fits into this? If the mechanism piece is made twice
it needs a nut.
4. THE BIGGEST ONE OF THEM ALL! HOW ARE YOU GOING TO GET A SCREW INTO IT IN THE FIRST
PLACE? If you didn't think about that might I suggest making a hole in the center pieces but not
the cap. It will look square from the top but not on the inside.
5. And I assume that you are planning on gluing one piece to the mechanism for internalalignment
issues?
That is all I can think of (besides how much a print cost is, Bradley).

Those look much better, but how are you going to get the screw into the hole if the centers overlap it?

Please don't take those from my quote, I was making those exact same corrections from olz's qoute, that is the reason they are size 150 and really stand out.

Styrene, please stop trying to backseat mod. There are lots of people on this board whos first language is not english and I think its very rude to correct them like that.

Nice puzzle, but I dont see how the inner 2 layers are held onto the core.

you just glue one of them on to an edge and they will stay aligned :P
