Okay so I have been developing a small penny sized rash on my right wrist (conveniently where a latex glove ends) and just this monday started getting one on my left forearm (underside, like where I rest it on a table) and now I'm starting to get one higher up on the same forearm.
Is it possible some of the alumilite resin spilled on the table and my wiping with a paper towel has left some residue on the plastic matte I'm working on? could this be a cause for the rash? cause I wear gloves and am very careful otherwise with the stuff and never get any on me.....
also has anyone else ever gotten effected like this from molding?

Are you allergic to latex?
My bro, who does tattoos, wears latex gloves all the time. He's told me many stories where people can be allergic to them - he too, while he's not allergic, will itch time to time.
Try switching to a different brand of gloves, perhaps...

I'd really like to be the first to point out that you're seeking medical advice on a puzzle building forum... One word; dermatologist.

but the rashes are not on my hands, they are on places where there is no glove
I'm aslo asking here because people who build puzzles here use resins, and so I was wondering if similar things have happend to them

I spilled a load of resin on my hand yesterday, and I'm fine. I wasn't wearing gloves because I ran out (stupid...stupid) and spilled a cup of hot resin right on my hand.
I just washed it off until it cured, and I haven't had any problems. Besides feeling really, really stupid.

I agree with the comment above, you should see a dermatologist, as they should know all about allergic effects. My first experience (last weekend) with silicon molds with catalyst (blue color) and fast cast polyurethane resin (white to beige color) was quite messy, and I did not use gloves (I couldn't wait to try it out!). I did spill a lot of material on my hands, but every time it happened, I washed them within five minutes (and it happened way too many times!). Thankfully, no rashes, my hands were just a bit "whitened" the next day, as the resin which was left on them became completely solid (in a Sahara-sand-like way), but now all things are back to normal. I do though, have plenty of hard parts on my palm, but that is because of the weights workout! Pantazis

Indeed I am not allergic latex.
The rashes I have are just a few small localized bumps that itch like crazy. its nothing severe, just a minor annoyance. and its happening in places that my gloves do not touch. I think taylor experiences the same thing I am.
I have also spilled resin on my hands and gloveless with no ill effect.
I'll wait it out, if it gets worse then i'll see a doc.
