I was surprised how many people said the masterball was really difficult. I was able to figure it out the first day I got it in the mail.

Here's how I solve it:

Solve one layer. More instructions later if needed. Now, put the solved layer on the bottom. Now you'll need to swap pieces on the top to solve. To swap two pieces (light green and dark green), rotate the bottom solved layer so that when you flip the right side, the same color will be at the side of the puzzle away from you (in this case, it's purple).

Now, you're giong to do the following:

Flip the right side (you should see the two purples (or whatever color) together).

Rotate the top layer counter clockwise

Flip the right side of the puzzle

Rotate the top layer clockwise

Flip the right side of the puzzle

Rotate the top layer clockwise

Flip the right side of the puzzle

Rotate the top layer counter clockwise

Now, it's best to do the two middle layers because you can always rotate them together to make sure you're on track. Once you do the middle, you can line up the poles with the solved middle to keep yourself on track.
