I need some help with Roux, I am not "new" to Roux, as i found it over a year ago, but i never really considered speedsolving it! But now, i really want to look into this. I average about 30.XX using a mix of algorithms I found on the internet crashed together to upgrade the beginners method, and I have looked into F2L but Roux really inspires me.
Nevertheless, I want to start speedcubing Roux. I got a 24.XX single but average around 40.XX after my first week.
Soooooo. Where do i start? Any tips? Is Roux "worth the trouble"? How fast did you guys get and how long did it take you to get there?

I know about fridrich and have been speedcubing for around 6 months in total, so i want an opinion on Roux.

Roux is worth it. By far the best method around, and that's coming from a Fridrich user. I highly recommend learning it. I would suggest looking at the SpeedSolving forum, as the fastest Roux solvers in the world post there and you should be able to find plenty of good tutorials.
