Have you got the 3x3x3 Saturn?
If not, you may consider getting one. Solving my Crazy Megaminx Earth I have found many analogies between the 3x3x3 Earth and the Megaminx Earth.
In my view (and it is shared by others) the Saturn is the hardest of all Crazy 3x3x3. Chances are high that this is true for the Crazy Megaminx as well. Good luck! :) (Maybe, the screwdriver is the more adequate tool?  )

It is difficult to solve only elements inside circles. Rest is solved very easily! It is necessary only to use algorithms with the completed cycles of revolutions of each side. :D

The theory sounds easy enough:
1. solve the circles
2. solve the rest
Question is: HOW?
We are talking about Saturn. There are analogies bewteen the Crazy 3x3x3 Plus Saturn and the Crazy Megaminx Saturn. Here are the definitions:

At least in this thread there was some understanding that the 3x3x3 Saturn is really hard.

...Here is my ranking of the relative difficulty:

- Reduction: Jupiter < Uranus

- Not-reduction: Mercury < Venus < Neptune < Earth < Mars < Saturn (I think Saturn is way harder than the others, combined  )
...
I also tried crazy megaminx's Jupiter and Mercury using a simulator. But I found them pretty tedious. So I give up solving the other ones. I know some of them are quite challenging. Maybe I will resume solving them.
My assumption is: Saturn is the hardest Crazy 3x3x3, any Crazy Megaminx is harder (at least more confusing) than the corresponding Crazy 3x3x3 planet, Saturn is the hardest of all of them.
I'm pretty sure that I can adapt my Crazy 3x3x3 methods to the corresponding Crazy Megaminx. (They are quite a bit different for different planets.)
I have done it once for the Earth variant, but will certainly not pay so much money for any other Crazy Megaminx.
If I could buy the parts for an easy modification, that would be a diffeent story.

@fermf: Please, keep us informed how this story goes on.
My recommendation: Get a 3x3x3 Saturn first. Solve it and then come back to the Crazy Megaminx.

Today I've solved all eight Crazy Megaminx'es. I found the Saturn Megaminx not as hard as the Saturn 3x3x3. My method to solve Saturn Megaminx is exactly as same as Earth/Mars/Venus etc. The reason is that, there exist two adjacent type-0 faces on Saturn Megaminx, so that I can use certain algorithms. However, you cannot find two adjacent type-0 faces on Saturn 3x3x3, which makes the solution harder.

I've solved most of my Crazy Megaminx - Saturn, except for the circular "corners"....
Having a little difficulty finding good cycles for these little wedges. The russian blog
is a bit helpful, but haven't completely sussed it out...

I have yet to get a Crazy 3x3x3...

It has been proposed that we include the Crazy Megaminx solution hints here.
I have changed the title to "How to solve Dayan's Crazy 3x3x3 and Megaminx?"
I find the suggestion reasonable and given the similarity of Megaminx and 3x3x3, we should stop the discussion of the Crazy Megaminx here and make any future posts in the other thread.

I've solved a Neptune and Earth Crazy Megaminx. Which one do you think I should try next-which do you think would be the most difficult? Saturn?

May I ask, how you have got the two? Have you modded one? Have you bought both separately? Or have you used a computer simulation?

It is hard to say, which one is the hardest. schuma above thinks that the Crazy Megaminx are easier than the 3x3x3 :) I have the theory still, that Saturn is the hardest 3x3x3 and, therefore, I'm guessing it is the same for Megaminx.

I wasn't going to but I bought both. I like to have an actual puzzle in my hands-for me it's easier. Maybe they'll eventually lower the price on these. So, now I'm leaning toward getting that Saturn. :)
