Hi! I decided to scramble and try and solve my professor Rhomb today. I got it all, but three middle center pieces!

Can you please help me out? Either a way to solve this back when I was solving centers, or even more optimal, an alg that fixes this only!

If the Closest corner to the camera in that picture is F, and the other corners in the picture that turn are U, R, D and L. I call the Center slice between U and D, X. X' is the same direction as U'. Lowercase is a slice move.

I'm pretty sure that doing a 2x3x3 style 3 cycle will do the trick. Obviously you will scramble the edges up, but they're not the hardest to solve.

Couldn't you just solve this centers first like a normal 5x5x5?

PM6262, no you cant with regular 5x5x5 center algs. You switch the pieces around when adding more. plus the center needs orientation as well.

I want to learn the new alg. But I found it really easy after re-thinking centers into the 3x3x2 edge solution. The algs is only needed if you dont take care of the problem when you solve the centers completely at first.
