Buyers can now leave sincere positive, negative, and neutral feedbacks without the threat of getting a negative feedback back from the seller D: !

This makes me paranoid to the max when I sell items now. Haha.

As a buyer I like this - I once bought a barrel that turned out to have a sticker missing but I didn't leave the feedback because when I looked at their negative feedback (it was only 0.5%) they always slated the buyer. They also ignored all my communications.

As a seller I am slightly worried because although I might point out a defect in the listing, the buyer can always complain about that defect without fair reply.

I am an Ebay buyer and seller. It strikes me that Ebay is very largely based on two-way trust between buyer and seller, a trust that is only occasionally broken, partly (mostly?) because of the feedback system. Taking away the right of the seller to leave negative or neutral feedback gives all the power to the buyer, who can leave any feedback they like for whatever minor reason they like. This means that trust is no longer a two-way issue, which is very dangerous.

I would have thought a monitoring system that picks up sellers who routinely respond to negative feedback with negative feedback would be more sensible and fair?
