This weekend i will be making screen doors for my room. there are no windows in my room but i have double French doors that i cant find screen doors for. so i decided to make them. the door is about 8 feet high and 6 feet wide (3 feet each door). both Home Depot and Lowes told me it would be $750-850 to get screen doors for them. i calculated it to be far less if i make them myself. ill post a picture when im done.

Does anyone else make or do home projects?

Oh, all of the time. I did a lot of woodworking and furniture making before I found cubing. Never sold anything, but a good 1/3 of my houselhold furniture was made by these hands.

My parents are big into the ol' D.I.Y. and I guess it's rubbed off on me too. Right now, they're building an en-suite in the master bedroom, which involves laying pipes outside. Much digging! I'm glad the weather's good these days
