What should I use for my avatar? [Megaminx animations]

I got bored in History class last week. Waiting for school to be over.

I know they are all pretty bad, but oh well. I took all the pictures in about 5 minutes.

And was wondering... what would happen if a maths teacher found a student playing with a megaminx during class? Would the maths teacher attempt to solve the puzzle???

i often take my puzzles to maths lessons....he isnt too fond of them, i did however work out the 5x5 in his lesson!

When I say "my" bump cube - it was made by hidetoshi. The quality is amazing!

I make them with Macromedia Flash and sometimes Ulead gif animator.

gif's are a series of pictures that animate.

I took my digital camera and took a bunch of pictures by hand (which explains the low quality) then scaled them down and then put them as single slides one after another in Animation Shop 3, which came standard on my Dell Dimension 4100 with Windows ME.

You can probably get other programs.

Aslo, what's a 'gif'?

This thread amused me, seeing your secret pic in class, as it sparked ideas of taking pics of puzzles in 'naughty' places or extreme places. Where can one take a pic of a puzzle that really shouldn't be allowed?

GIF = graphic interchange format, mostly used for making animated graphics.

I think I have macromedia flash but I have no idea how to access it or use it. I also have Picture It for photos which I use a lot. It gives me the option to store a file as a gif but I don't know how to add the extra frames etc. I know all this stuff is on the net but it's a lot of trawling around so any additional help would be gratefully received. Skeneegee?

This may not be the greatest tool... but it's free. i tried it a few times. just add the pictures you want, in whatever order you want it to animate. the only thing, because of the freeware, it'll have their logo at the bottom...

there's a lot better ones out there i'm sure, but this one is easy to use, just to get an idea of what .gif's are all about.
