This is a community of people, and people develop roles and earn respect within a community. It's just like anywhere else. You didn't take the time to get to know the forum as a member or earn that respect. People tend not to listen to those they don't yet respect.
I think you should have taken a nicer tone, or posted for a while first.

JIMBOB: Thank you for that compliment. actually i think there are alot of other great builders out there besides me, i dont want to name any because i dont want to miss any. im just a very active member here so you see alot of my stuff. i also like to build things that no one else has done. occasionally i will let an idea out that no one has done and that i dont want to do, case in point Sphere-1. i didnt know alot about building 2 years ago and meeting Quinn, i gave him the idea and the go ahead to do it.

Nobody appreciates a bull in a china shop. Whether you had valid points or not is not the issue here, but I personally took umbrage at your tone without so much as a simple introduction. If a welcome to the forum was what you wanted, your approach to it was not the way to go about it, especially not your random comment about a "wasted thread." Stepping on people's toes as a means to introduce yourself is downright rude and nobody appreciates that.

JIMBOB, you seem to be a native language speaker which I am not. I tend to take you latest remark as, well, inaccurate at the least. If you're really in doubt it never hurts to check the meaning.
