This past staurday, I was at a state scince olympiad competition. For those of you who don't know what Science Olympiad is, it is basically a science fair, but with teams of fifteen people and 30 different "events". (e.g. bridge designing, chemistry, astronomy) For those of you who DO know what science olympiad is, you'll know it is a BIG deal, as big as the science fair. Anyways, our team qualified for the state competition (which we usually do) and the best we had ever done at state was 6th place. Well, this year, I guess everyone just kicked it up another notch, and we WON!!! We get to represent the state of Colorado and go to the nationals! I thought i would just share that, since that is a huge deal for me and the rest of the team. So, yeah.

you're Coloradan too?! You guys need to get a tournament set up in Denver so I'll have another excuse to go home and visit.
