i ordered some puzzles off rubiks.com, and they said it would be here in 30 - 50 days, its now day 31 and so i am waiting for the postman every morning to see if he has my parcel,
if anyone here from the UK as bought off rubiks.com could tell me if it is delivered by royal mail or by a courier service, it would be very much appreciated,
i want to know what i am looking out for, the post man on a courier

yes but i wanted to know who delivers it, royal mail (so it is my regular mail delivery person) or an independant courier, which means i will have to be in when they deliver and im out all day,
if it is royal mail, when they deliver it, they will just leave it in my local post office, but with couriers you usually have to sign for it and you have to be at home when they deliver it

My experience (to Japan) is not Rubik.com but e-Bay auction, he (lives in U.S.) sent my package by air shipment, but it was arrived about 45 days after !
And the evidence of sent day was on the package's top.
Really, the package was sent his told day, because there is a stamp with undertook time.
Rubik's package is a little faster. I got my ordered puzzle after 40 days from my order. lol
If you ordered some large package puzzles, the percel becomes so large. Then it is stopped to check at the customs.

Does sitting by the window waiting make it come any faster? If you simply not worry about it, it'll be there and be kind of like a surprise.

I have ordered several times from rubiks.com
The first time it was a courier service that brought the stuff, the last time (a month ago) it was the postman.

R.E.T. wrote: Pembo, I sort of remember you were having problems with your newly purchased DIY cube. How are things going now?
ah, well i havent tried to fix it lately, the problem is that i cant screw the screws in tight enough becuase it is very stiff and i keep slipping and rounding the screw head off! grrrrr

You need to invest in a good selection of screwdrivers, so that you can always find one that fits the screwhead well.
[No doubt you realize this, but it took me years to get the message -- so it might help someone else!]
