Now that I have exhausted the subject of posting videos, I have a question about posting photos. What rule dictates as to whether a picture is immediately visible on the forum? Recent pictures posted by Stefan Pochmann are only around 18mb but are not immediately visible. In a test I found that a 70mb picture can be visible though the resolution was slightly less than Stefans. It would be handy to know in advance if a picture is going to be immediately visible without having to test it. Apologies for my continued computer ignorance.

Yeah, I'd also be interested in the exact rule for this. I think it has to do with the display size, not the file size. Cause my <20 kb (not mb, btw :)) images are not shown while I remember some >200 kb pics being shown.

I did some tests (for width and height individually). Looks like 500 pixels in both dimensions is the limit. Here comes a 500x500 pixels test image. A 501x10 or 10x501 image does *not* get shown directly.

That also agrees with my tests. Thanks Stefan.
