I had my start on a ZX81, then a 16k speccy, later expanded to 48k by plugging in some memory chips. Fantastic machines, and they taught me a lot about programming. Fond memories of typing in pages of hex listing from a magazine, only to find that it was crappy game, and then deciding that I could write a better version.
Ahh, those were the days.
