I've recently been getting fraud ebay emails asking for private information. The e-mail looked quite real at first, but I'm not that gullable. I've been getting about one every day, and I was wondering if anyone knows a way to stop these people from emailing me. any help?

Contact ebay.. I saw this scam on the news last night... DO NOT REPLY TO THAT (SCAM) EMAIL!!!!

Hey Jeff,

Forward the email to spoof@ebay.com and they'll hunt them down and try to put them out of business. Chances are you won't hear from them again...for a while.

I know if your user name is the same as your email address, you tend to get a lot more scams. I changed my ebay user name and I rarely get them anymore. I've noticed that my comcast junk filter seems to filter out about 1 of them a week though.

I wonder if anyone has a user name of spoof@ebay.com that would be pretty funny because the scams would get emailed right into the proper place =)
