Fox, Ryan Murphy (the creator of GLEE), and the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) are holding a contest where they will give up to $50,000 to the music program of a school, and the school has to send in a video about their music program to enter. My school, Dreyfoos, is a school of the arts, so we are in constant need of funding for our program. The video was made by students from our visual arts department, so pretty much the whole thing was student made. This would tremendously help our school combat frequent budget cuts, so I, and the whole school, would really appreciate all of the votes! Also, you are able to vote once per day, so please vote as much as possible!

A little information about Dreyfoos' music program:
The music program at our school is comprised of Band, Strings, Piano, and Vocal. In band alone there are upwards of 150 kids, and about the same in the strings program. I'm not sure about the piano or vocal programs, but they have a large number of students as well. For many students, like myself, going to Dreyfoos has changed their life, so I think we all would want the same opportunities for the generations to come. Even one vote helps a bit, so please vote!

Interesting. Some feedback to the makers of that video, the diction wasn't the greatest. Using more advanced sentence structure in the narrators' words would probably leave a more impressive impression. But, the whole concept of holding up the signs was pretty cool and I voted as well. EDIT: Voted again.

After some searching, I was able to find more info about the contest. Apparantly, after the voting period, the top 50 most voted videos are given to judges who decide who gets the prizes. Still, that doesn't mean you should stop voting!
