Which side are you on? I'm only going to list the major 3 and an other, but please explain if you choose other.
For some people, this could be more controversial than the notorious religion thread, but I'll trust that you can all play nicely

Dual boot Win2k and Linux at home. At work I'm stuck with XP all day.

Windows just because I am used to it and my current computer has it.
But from what I've tried with Macs I enjoyed. Linux has too many functions I'd never use so it's likely not worth it.

It is all about the Penguin! Decreasing order of possible things you can do with an OS : Linux, Windows, Mac My OS heirarchy: Linux, Windows, Mac See the correlation?
If Solidworks and AutoCAD worked on linux, I wouldn't need windows.
Oh, and sn ... Give it a try. You can run linux directly from a CD and not change anything on your computer.

Linux here, namely Fedora 9. Though I do keep a XP partition only for gaming.

I myself am a Kubuntu Linux user, and have been since Breezy Badger(Ditch the Windows partition around the time of Dapper or Edgy). Life is MUCH better with the Penguin. Now, if I just convince my family to give Linux a fair chance and find a decent CAD program that will run in Linux.

Well, since the poll only allows one choice I picked Windows because it's what I use at home. At work, I use whatever is necessary to get the job done. Sometimes I work in BSD when I'm doing security work. Sometimes I use Knoppix or any number of hacked linux/unix OS's. Most of the time I work in Cisco IOS. I use Windows at home for a few reasons, but the main one is that I work on computers, networks and the like all day and sometimes into the night, so the last thing I want to do is go home and fiddle with compiling crap to make the programs work, or having to go searching for Bob's drivers in order to make a piece of equipment I bought work on my computer. I'd rather just use a canned app to do what I want to do. There has never been something I wanted to do for personal use that wasn't available for Windows. The same cannot be said for Unix. I have absolutely no use for Mac OS. It's expensive, and most of the stuff I have any interest in, if it is available for the Mac, it was ported from a Windows version. And if I want to run Windows, I'll run Windows, not windows in a VM on a Mac.

Linux is king. I have a dual boot of Fedora 8 and Windows Vista (blech!), and I use Windows only because it runs my more commonly used programs. My good word processor is on Linux, thankfully, and that's where I usually do schoolwork.

Nope. Because I don't play games like that, so it makes little difference to me. As I said, I have no use for a mac, so why would I pay all that money so I can boot it up into windows?

My main computer right now is a Mac. But I have installed Ubuntu on my dad's laptop (dual boot), and now my brother has a new computer, I also installed Debian on his old desktop (havn't got the wireless card working yet).
When I move to university, I'll probably get a laptop, and dual boot Linux/Windows (keep the Windows, just in case) and maybe get a mac mini too, just so I can also use a mac if I want.
