man that cube is hot. you gutta start teaching us how you do this, could be just the basic mods if you don't feel like getting too elaborate... this [Censored. Please be nice!] is fascinating, but i don't know where to begin!

i guess ill buy some [Censored. Please be nice!] off ebay and [Censored. Please be nice!] around with my pocket knife, and gorilla glue.

Is it one of his puzzles being reauctioned, or is it someone elses build?

It is someone else's build. He makes good puzzles, but not as perfect as Tony (I can tell, because I have puzzles from him and Tony)

Thank you,
I also know the quality of the puzzles he makes already.
So I'm confident, that this one will also be of high quality.

Reeeech, don't worry too much, just think of your Halpern-Meyer pyramid,
maybe this helps.

different type of plastic. Makes for a more fragile puzzle. I have a 5 layer square-1 made by him. VERY VERY fragile indeed.

The competition keeps getting bigger and the prices keep going higher, wow

Reeeech now has 2 original Fisher puzzles that I don't have  Hopefully I won't have to wait another year for the Tetrahedron to show up again.

Frank, let us know how you like the overlapping cube. I would like to know. I have not had great experiences will that seller in the past as far as quality but that was 2+ years ago. Look what Adam has done in the past 2 years. Wow.

Nice post count ;)

I have 2 that you don't have? Care to share what they are? The Tetrahedron and...?

LOL wow, it's funny.... about 3 years ago, I had visited this site because I had looked up Meffert's on google and this was one of the sites that came up. I browsed, and came across Dodd's puzzle list and was amazed at his collection. I asked him a brief question about it and where he got them from, as I had no idea where to get twisty puzzles at the time and I was new to the puzzle world and just started to buy from Meffert's.

Fast forward to today. I have a puzzle he doesn't have! wow! indeed :P
I don't know if I'll ever get to his collection size, but it's still a collection I'm proud of to have.

@Dodd:
Sure I will tell you about Yang Ho's puzzle. I already have four other creations from him:
- Maze Cube_Black&White
- House Cube
- Dodecagonal Prism Cube
- Star Prism Cube
and they are all of good quality. For those of you, who don't know his site, here it is: http://www.cubemania.co.kr/
Now I am also quite curious, because I think, the Overlapping Cube belongs to another league. I hope, it works as well as it looks on the video.
I also suggested Tony to show it to him next time we have the chance to meet (DCD 2007?) to have a direct comparison.

Also Adam's puzzles are very good, I can only recommend and will of course have a look on his next builds.

What I also watch with mixed feelings are the rising prices for the puzzles although I also feel guilty for this (of course). One the one hand, this could be an additional motivation except the required time and enthusiasm to build more and new puzzles.
But on the other hand I am also afraid, that because of the high prices we will get more and more two classes of collectors depending on the price. Of course you can say, that's how the market works. But the puzzle scene
lives and renews itself from the young puzzle builders, speedcubers and enthusiasts. I hope, prices don't kill this development. :?
(I think, if anybody wants to discuss this, we should better start a new thread..)

- Frank -

Reeeech

Didn't you win this auction?

Fisher's Icosidodecahedron is the other Fisher puzzle I do not have. He has only sold one to date.
